Didem, co-owner, is a seasoned and versatile licensed speech-language pathologist who has been passionate about the pediatric population since childhood when she personally experienced the benefit of speech therapy. Didem received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Redlands and her Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University. She is well versed in providing therapy in private clinic, school district, and home-based environments.
Didem is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Hanen Certified with “It Takes Two to Talk” and “More Than Words.” In addition, Didem holds active memberships in Kinesio Taping International and Integrated Listening Systems (iLS) associations.
Didem has worked with a range of children over her 11+ year career. She has experience working with a wide variety of Early Intervention through School-Age children addressing Articulation, Auditory Processing, Stuttering, Oral-Motor, and providing parent training to bring best practices into the child’s daily routines.
Didem lives in San Francisco with her husband, two boys and their family dog, a Great Dane. When she is not working, she enjoys family time by going to local parks, playing games, cooking, watching movies, and family trips from time to time.
